Our smartest person of the entire high school class, and he was the nicest person you could ever meet.....sad to learn about his passing here. I would have bet that he was going to get his doctorate in something or anything since he was an amazing, intelligent guy!...Ronda

Wow, I just read what Earl Herbert Hershey wrote - now that is poetry.

One of the smartest and nicest guys you ever wanted to meet. I was in love with you Leighton (Teddy) as we knew you. I know your doing good work up there. I will remember you always.

My only sadness on this great day, my brother, is that you are not here to witness it with me.

Yes, I agree with what Rhonda and Trudy said - "smart, intelligent and nice". Earl - I love your poetry. I had the pleasure of working with Leighton at General Electric Company in King of Prussia. We were working for the same program in the same building and he was on the way to work on the day of that accident. I remember a co-worker telling me that he had passed, and asked if I was okay. No, I wasn't okay..I had to leave the room to be alone - it really got to me. Yes..Leighton was going places on our program and he was very-well liked and much appreciated. That was evident on the day of his funeral when so many co-workers traveled from near and far to pay tribute to such a well-deserving person (when you see grown men crying...need I say more?)What an impact! I will never forget him and I know they won't either.
