Comments:

I retired from the DoD, remarried in 2009 and got back into managing real estate investment property (yes I'm a landlord again). "Some days are diamonds, some days a stone" - in the landlording industry. It's never dull.

Free CPA Advice I Posted on the Message Forum, and yes Mike Marchese said it was ok before posting.

I'm redefining retirement and I love to travel.Yes I married and divorced twice, & after being single again for 20 years, going back to my maiden name, I remarried. I am the mother of 2 children and have one surviving child, and she is 24. However after listening to Larry Constable tell his secret after 40 years, I listed my story of the name Susan after Sue Testa, Sue Monastero & Sue Raimondi. I wrote my secret sadness in Ricky Testa's memorial because it is about my Susan. I didn't want to bring any of you down and I thought the "in Memory" was the appropriate place. Thanks to Larry C. - I wrote my secret.
Traveled again to: Munich Germany, Rome - which was fantastic, Hawaii, Hilton Head Island SC, Alaska, Florida & of course NJ shore. I have traveled throughout Europe while living there 4 years, Hawaii my favorite-lived there as a child and went back 5 times, traveled throughout most of the USA. After I took care of my Mother for home hospice and she passed in 2002, I bought my first Red Convertible and my daughter tried to borrow it all the time. Update: I bought her a 10 year old White with Black accents on the side Grand Prix that has a remote start - Now that's a "007" type car. Now she doesn't ask to borrow mine!!!!

School Story:

Btw, I only took the PSAT's and never took SAT's as we were discouraged while in the business classes of NHS. May I add that I have a B.A., MBA, and CPA without taking SAT's. So yes we can really applies to my life!

I didn't take the time to particpate in many high school functions as much as I wanted due to working everyday and 1/2 day on Saturday. I remember working and studying too much. I took 3 years of Bookkeeping in high school, and got to college and they used the same books for Accounting so I went from Accounting 101 & they advanced me to Accounting 3 & I helped to teach Accounting 101 at Montg. County Community College, while working full time at GE. Again working & studying.

I worked my way through high school, college - selling real estate after passing the boards, the university, and CPA school, and do you believe I retired at 50.

I received a B.A. with a double major in Accounting & Business Administration at Augustana College, Rock Island, Ill, and then my MBA from Boston University in Heidelberg Germany, where I lived four years before returning to Pennsylvania, & then became a licensed CPA. I also bought, developed and then sold my tax business in Germany when I wanted to come back to the good old USA!
This is the greatest country in the world.
The only silly memories I have are of Bobby Behney making me laugh & trying to push me while taking group pics, & Danny Storti who kept poking me in the back with a sharp pencil in POD class. Of course I returned the favor with a sharp pencil - right back at ya.

I learned about prejudice & hate in Junior High School from a girl (MG now MGC) that received most of the awards in junior high & high school. She called me names and told many not to talk to me because I associated with all people - and that is regardless of race, color, creed or religion. She especially called me a name because I associated with minorities. I did not have an "Italian last name" but I was raised by my grandmother Mrs. Mary DeMarco, Mom, Mrs. Florence DeMarco Stansbery, Carmella Demarco & my Uncle Vincent (Jimmy) DeMarco, who said you must not discriminate against anyone, especially when I told my family what she was doing to me at the time. They said to ignore her and to live my own good life.
I used this site to write to "her" and asked her if she changed. She wrote back only once and asked what I meant. I told her I forgave her but gave her back all of horrible names she called me - asked her why she hated minorities so much; and of course she never wrote back to me.
The funny thing is she received the DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution) award in high school, plus she always received the highest number of awards in school. I'm sure they never would have considered her if they knew how prejudiced she was.
It is a time for moving forward and forgiveness and for that lesson, I am enternally grateful. I don't know why after reading of AC (Anthony Clementi's) untimely death at 59, that I felt compelled to write about life and forgiveness here of all places. Also, if I have stepped on anyone else's toes or disrespected any of you in any way, I ask for you to forgive me and let's move forward.
...........Sincerely, my very best regards, Ronda

Norristown Memory

I don't understand why but I always liked school and learning.............life skills and still do. Numbers are always important so MBA, CPA was important.

Ronda getting attached to a cable for ziplining in Ketchikan Alaska Sept 08. I was scared, so face your fears and jump off anyway! This was the first platform. The others had NO RAILINGS! I can't believe I did it, 7 jumps! But I don't want to zipline again.
