She was born on May 12, 1950, to John and Helen Baker and was raised in Norristown, PA. She moved to King of Prussia, PA, in 1974 to start her family and then relocated to Wayne, PA, in 1984, where she raised her family and lived for over 38 years.
Sharon was the beloved wife of Thomas Klinger for nearly 50 years and the cherished mother of Andrew Klinger (Devon) and Lindsey Klinger-O'Donnell (Matthew). She was the adoring grandmother to five grandchildren, Reid, Lillian, Hayden, Grant, and Nora, who fondly called her “Nana.” She was also the loving sister of Patricia Laubach (John), the proud aunt of many nieces and nephews, and the treasured cousin of Robert and David Cook.
She graduated from A.D. Eisenhower High School, Class of 1968, and Montgomery Hospital School of Nursing, Class of 1971. Sharon was a nurse by profession until her retirement in 2017; it truly was her calling. She was devoted to her family and could always be found taking care of others. She had many hobbies and talents. She was an avid baker, crafter, sewer, quilter, and crocheter. She loved reading and learning. She also enjoyed going to the beach and spending time with family. She loved music, especially classic rock and roll artists from the ’60s and ’70s, including the Moody Blues and the Beatles. She was loving and caring, always ready and willing to help others.
