Ed died Sunday, March 9, 2003 at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia. He was 52. He was a truck driver, a member of the Norristown Maenner-Chor Club where he was treasurer and the LAM - Valley Forge Lodge 1779 O.S.I.A. He enjoyed playing cards.
