Roger had one of the biggest collections of butterflys I have ever seen. I will always remember him with a net chasing bugs through the cemetary on DeKalb pike. His mother was one of the kindest people I have ever met.

I was just thinking about Roger last week, not knowing that he had passed. As I'm sure you all remember, Roger was an excellent photographer. He took some pictures of Lou Reed & the Velvet Underground at the old Electric Factory on 22 St in Philly, musta been senior year 'cause I only recall seeing him once after we graduated. The pictures got gone sometime after I moved to Atlanta 30+ years ago and I was trying to track down who might have them in an attempt to get them back. Didn't know why, till now, I was so interested in them after all this time.

Roger was also a staunch conservative, politically, and arguing politics with him is one of the prime reasons I consider myself a Libertarian instead of a Liberal today.

Thanks man, it was a real pleasure making your acquaintance.

I'm sorry the read that Roger is gone. He was quite the photo bug, very creative, a fine writer and great company.
