In Memory

Robert White

Robert White February 6, 1950 - January 25, 2015 Robert Bob White, 64, of Lansdale passed away Sunday, January 25, 2015 in The Villages, Florida where he and his wife have a winter residence. He was the beloved husband of Christine White to whom he was married for over 37 years. Born February 6, 1950 in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of Anne White and the late William White. Mr. White attended Bloomsburg University where he earned a degree in Education. He taught middle school in the Norristown Area School District for a number of years. A career change led him to computers and a position with Montgomery County in the data processing department. He retired in 2013. His greatest joy was spending time with his family. He loved listening to music, watching his sons play baseball, and trips to Dunkin Donuts with Casey, the family dog. One of his fondest memories was a cross country trip to Yosemite National Park with his family in 2013. In addition to his wife he is survived by his sons Jason (wife Mandi) and Ben (fiancee Rachel Pond); mother Anne; sister Tricia (husband Harry); brother George (wife Barb). He was overjoyed last April by the birth of his first grandchild, Ethan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. His family remains in awe at the courage he showed in dealing with his disability of muscular dystrophy.

Robert, Clair Boyer and I were Mrs. Hawlk's homeroom favorites after the Christmas Party when we were sophmores. If she is still alive, would someone let her know.

Dr Frank R. Ebert

We played a lot of football together in Junior High and at Norristown. He was a great teammate a good friend and one of the hardest workers I have ever met. Thank you for all the memories. You will be missed.     Frank Ebert
